The Full Policy
1. Who This Policy Covers
This policy explains how HQ Aesthetics Perth, operating from 96b Rome Rd, Melville WA 6156, handles personal information. It applies to this website, to enquiries made through it, and to the records kept for people who are treated in the studio.
It is written to sit alongside the Australian Privacy Principles. If anything here is unclear, ask and it will be explained in plain terms.
2. What Is Collected
Through this website: your name, phone number, email address, the treatments you tick and anything you type into the message box on the enquiry form. Nothing else is collected from you on this site.
In the studio: the same contact details, plus the health and skin information you give at your consultation. That includes medication, allergies, recent sun exposure, recent cosmetic treatment elsewhere and any relevant medical history. This is sensitive information and it is treated as such.
Where photographs are taken to record a treatment, they are only taken with your permission, and they are only published with separate written permission.
3. Why It Is Collected
To reply to your enquiry and arrange an appointment.
To treat you safely. Health information is collected because some treatments cannot be performed over certain medications, conditions, recent injectables or compromised skin, and knowing that in advance is the entire point of the consultation.
To keep an accurate treatment record so that the next appointment builds on the last one rather than starting from scratch.
To send appointment confirmations and reminders.
4. How An Enquiry Is Handled
An enquiry sent through this website is delivered by email to the studio and is read by Simone. It is not added to a mailing list, it is not sold, and it is not passed to any third party for marketing.
The form carries basic spam protection. That checks the shape and timing of the submission only, and it does not profile you or track you across other websites.
6. How It Is Stored And For How Long
Records are kept securely and access is limited to Simone, who is the only person treating in the studio.
Treatment and consent records are kept for as long as they are needed to treat you safely and to meet record keeping obligations. Enquiries that do not turn into appointments are not kept indefinitely.
8. Links To Other Services
This site links out to the online booking system, to Google Maps for directions and to the studio's Google listing for reviews. Once you follow one of those links you are on that company's service and its own privacy terms apply, not this one.
9. Getting A Copy, Or Having It Deleted
You can ask for a copy of the personal information held about you, ask for it to be corrected if it is wrong, or ask for it to be deleted.
Ring 0425 422 966 or email hqaestheticsperth@gmail.com and say what you want. There is no form to fill in and no charge for a straightforward request.
Some treatment and consent records may need to be retained for a period even after a deletion request, where the law requires it. If that applies, you will be told which records and why.
10. If You Are Not Happy With How It Was Handled
Raise it with the studio first, because most things are a misunderstanding that gets sorted out in one phone call.
If that does not resolve it, you can take the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
11. Changes To This Policy
This policy may be updated as the studio's systems change. The version published on this page is the current one.
Asking For Your Records
Any Question About Your Information
Ring the studio on 0425 422 966 and ask. You will get a straight answer from the person who actually holds the records rather than a ticket number.
