The Four Steps, In One Appointment
Each step runs into the next without the skin being left to dry out in between, which is the whole reason the machine exists.
Cleanse And Exfoliate
The surface layer is lifted away with a gentle abrasive tip and solution, so everything after this is working on skin rather than through a layer of dead cells.

Loosen What Is In The Pores
A mild acid solution runs across the skin to soften the oil and debris sitting in the pores. Nothing is being forced at this stage, it is being made willing to move.
Step two
Extract With Suction
The vacuum tip draws it out. This is the step a pair of hands cannot replicate, and it is why people with congested skin book this over a standard facial.
Step three
Hydrate While It Is Open
Serum goes back in through the same machine while the skin is still receptive, rather than being wiped over the top at the end.

Four jobs in one machine. It cleans and exfoliates the surface, loosens what is sitting in the pores, vacuums it out with suction rather than squeezing, and pushes hydrating serum back in while the skin is open. Same appointment, one pass over each area.

This one is the appointment to book when congestion and pore size are the actual complaint, because the extraction step is the bit a hand cannot do as well. If your skin is just dull and dry, the cheaper facial is the right call and Simone will say so.
No. It reads as a firm tugging sensation, a bit like something gripping the skin and letting go as it moves. It is noticeably more comfortable than manual extraction, which is the pinching most people are bracing for.
None to speak of. Some people are slightly pink for half an hour, particularly around the nose. Makeup can go straight back on, although skin usually looks better without it for the rest of the day.
Every four weeks if congestion and pore size are what you are working on, and every six to eight if you are just keeping the skin in condition. It is one of the few treatments where the interval genuinely depends on how oily your skin is rather than on a standard rule.
Yes, and it is one of the better choices for it. Three days beforehand is the sweet spot. It is worth avoiding the day before purely because extraction occasionally brings something to the surface, and you want a couple of days of margin.
It lifts what is loose in the pores and it does that considerably better than fingers do, so the look of blackheads improves. It does not change how much oil your skin makes, so they come back. That is why it is a regular appointment rather than a one off fix, and Simone will be upfront with you about that.
Red and yellow LED is the usual addition, from $20 for fifteen minutes on the end of the same appointment. If you are also having skin needling, the two get spaced rather than stacked, and Simone works out the order at your consultation.
